Aerohaber.com – ANTALYA – April 2025 — The world’s top mountain runners will once again gather in the Kemer district of Antalya on 9–10 May 2025 for the Corendon Airlines Tahtalı Run to Sky. This iconic event, known as Turkey’s first skyrunning race, has gained further prestige this year by officially joining the 2025 Skyrunner® World Series calendar.

A Legendary Journey from Sea to Summit
With the motto “Flying the World to Antalya’s Summit”, this unique race offers participants an unforgettable running experience, beginning at the Çıralı beach and ascending to the 2,365-metre-high summit of Mount Tahtalı, amidst the stunning nature of the Mediterranean. Sponsored by Corendon Airlines, the event combines athletic challenge with visual spectacle.

As one of 24 races to be held in 16 countries in 2025, Corendon Airlines Tahtalı Run to Sky has earned international recognition by being included in the Merrell Skyrunner® World Series calendar. The 27-kilometre “Run to Sky” course offers runners a test of altitude, technical difficulty, and physical limits, and will be broadcast live to millions of viewers around the world.
800 Participants from 20 Countries in 2024 – Even More Expected in 2025
Welcoming 800 athletes from 20 countries last year, the event is set to attract even more participants and increased media attention in 2025. It appeals not only to professionals but also to nature and sports enthusiasts.
Endless Adventure Across Three Courses
• Berg Sky Race (65K) – A tough challenge for extreme runners with 4,300 metres of elevation gain.
• Run to Sky (27K) – A legendary Skyrunner® World Series point-scoring course with 2,650 metres of elevation.
• KemeRun (12K) – A short and enjoyable nature escape route starting from the centre of Kemer.
Skyrunner® World Series Scoring and Prize System
In all Skyrace events, the top 10 male and female athletes will be awarded prize money. To qualify for the season finale Skymasters race, participants must complete a minimum of four Skyraces and one Skymaster race.
