Shocking Situation on a TAROM Aircraft: Tires Burst, Investigation Launched

A TAROM Airlines Boeing 737-700 aircraft, flight number RO-384, canceled its takeoff due to a technical issue while departing from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Bucharest Otopeni Airport (OTP).

The aircraft, registered YR-BGG, was accelerating on runway 08R when the crew rejected the takeoff at high speed, after which it made a sharp turn about 2500 meters down the runway and vacated it.

Tires Damaged, Captain’s Decision Under Investigation

In a statement by TAROM, it was reported that the crew abandoned the takeoff after detecting a technical problem, during which two of the aircraft’s tires lost pressure.

Authorities announced they are investigating the captain’s decision to reject the takeoff. While technical teams continue their inspections, the aircraft has been grounded in Paris, approximately 19 hours after the planned takeoff.
