A new era in senior management has officially begun at SunExpress, the joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. The airline’s new CEO, Marcus Schnabel, announced to the public that he has started his duties with a first-day photograph taken in front of SunExpress Headquarters in Antalya.
“SunExpress Is Defined by Its People”
In a post shared on social media, Marcus Schnabel expressed his pride and pleasure in joining the SunExpress family, while emphasising that the company’s greatest strength is its employees.
Schnabel included the following statements in his remarks:

The new CEO stated that they aim to build the future on SunExpress’s strong foundations by working closely with teams across all bases.

This new era at the Antalya-based airline is regarded as a critical step for SunExpress’s growth strategies, operational efficiency targets, and flight network expansion plans following the management transition after Max Kownatzki.
