In its report, the official Iranian news agency Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), citing the public relations unit of Shahid Nojeh Air Base, stated: “On Thursday night, while carrying out a night training mission in Hamedan province, an army air force aircraft crashed and one of the pilots was martyred, while the other was rescued safely.”
Authorities announced that the technical investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

While Iran cites its distrust of Washington as the biggest obstacle to a possible agreement, the risk of military conflict in the region is considered to be ongoing.
