One of the world’s largest airlines, Emirates, received a total of 7 awards at the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards held at Fairmont Windsor Park in London. Emirates was honored with the awards for “World’s Best Inflight Entertainment,” “Best First Class Comfort Amenities,” “Best First Class in the Middle East,” “Best First Class Onboard Catering in the Middle East,” “Best Family-Friendly Airline in the Middle East,” “Best Premium Economy Class in the Middle East,” and “Best Premium Economy Onboard Catering in the Middle East.” This achievement reflects the airline’s commitment to offering the best products and services across all classes.

World’s Best Inflight Entertainment
Emirates’ renowned inflight entertainment system, ice, earned the “World’s Best Inflight Entertainment” award for the 18th time in the Skytrax rankings. With a channel list exceeding 6,500 in more than 40 languages, this system offers content that appeals to every passenger. Passengers can choose from over 4,000 hours of movies and TV channels, up to 3,500 hours of music and podcasts, more than 2,000 Hollywood and international films, 250 exclusive children’s and family channels, and hundreds of TV series and films from Paramount+, HBO Max, Discovery+, BBC, Bloomberg Originals, and Shahid.

The Emirates First Class experience continues to be a benchmark for excellence in the industry, winning 3 awards: “Best First Class Comfort Amenities,” “Best First Class Airline in the Middle East,” and “Best First Class Onboard Catering in the Middle East.” First Class passengers enjoy a seamless travel experience with chauffeur-driven transfers to and from the airport and access to exclusive premium lounges at over 39 airports worldwide. Acclaimed Premium Economy and Family Travel
Emirates’ new product, which rivals many airlines’ Business Class, earned the “Best Premium Economy Class in the Middle East” and “Best Premium Economy Onboard Catering in the Middle East” awards. Emirates Premium Economy Class offers a new level of experience with leather seats that are 49.5 cm wide, with a pitch of 101.6 cm and a recline feature of 20.32 cm. Additional touches for comfort include leg and footrests, a 6-way adjustable headrest, easily accessible charging points, a side cocktail table, and a 13.3-inch TV screen, one of the largest in its class. Passengers can relax with blankets made from recycled plastic bottles, a large pillow, amenity kits, and a special sparkling wine, Chandon Vintage Brut 2017. Meals, prepared with seasonal ingredients and regional touches, are served in generous portions on china plates with stainless steel cutlery wrapped in linen napkins. Premium Economy Class is currently available on 15 routes including London Heathrow, Sydney, Melbourne, Christchurch, Auckland, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York, Houston, San Francisco, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Tokyo Narita, São Paulo, Osaka, and Dubai.
Emirates also won the award for “Best Family-Friendly Airline in the Middle East” for its range of products and services for families and children.
