Boeing, a company that supplies passenger aircraft to numerous airlines worldwide, has recently been in the spotlight due to scandals. The company’s reliability has come into question. First, there were incidents involving exploding doors, followed by consecutive crashes, and two critical employees who criticized the company died under suspicious circumstances. What’s happening at Boeing? What dangers does it pose for Turkey and the world?
The airplane door flew open. Passengers screamed in confusion. The plane landed safely. This accident marked the beginning of everything. Boeing, a company that supplies aircraft to almost all airlines worldwide, has had its flaws exposed.
The chain of events began with a cargo plane in Istanbul, followed by a tire explosion on a Corendon Airlines plane in Antalya. Although there were no injuries in both incidents, just two days later, a Boeing plane caught fire in Senegal, injuring 11 people. These incidents raised serious concerns about Boeing’s reliability.
Another significant factor contributing to Boeing’s presence in the world agenda is the suspicious deaths of two employees. Former Boeing employee and quality inspector, 44-year-old Joshua Dean, claimed that there were dangerous defects in the components of the 737 Max aircraft. However, it was announced that he was fired following these allegations. Dean later fell ill due to a bacterial infection and tragically passed away suddenly.
These events cast serious doubts on Boeing’s reliability. Both in Turkey and worldwide, issues with Boeing aircraft have become a major cause for concern in the aviation industry. How Boeing will deal with these scandals and restore its reliability remains a question of curiosity. (cnnturk)
