Fenerbahçe Beko Men’s Basketball Team became the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions by defeating the French team AS Monaco in the final held in Abu Dhabi. The yellow-navy delegation, which reached the top in Europe’s most prestigious basketball competition, was welcomed today with an enthusiastic ceremony at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
The plane carrying the team landed at Sabiha Gökçen Airport around 17:00. In a special welcome organized by the Airport Operations and Aviation Industries Inc. (HEAŞ), a traditional water salute ceremony was performed for the champion team’s plane as it moved from the runway to the parking area. This meaningful reception brought the excitement of the championship to the airport apron.
