The Airbus A350-1000, registered as G-VTEA, was en route from London Heathrow to Mumbai when it was diverted to Diyarbakır Airport after a passenger suddenly became unwell. During the nighttime landing, the aircraft made a hard touchdown, causing a technical malfunction, and was subsequently grounded at the airport.
Passengers Spent the Night in Diyarbakır
Due to the technical issue, the flight could not continue, and necessary arrangements were made for passengers to stay overnight in Diyarbakır. Technical teams will begin preparations for takeoff once the aircraft’s repairs are completed.
