Five heroes who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ’s Kahramankazan facilities on 23 October 2024 were commemorated at a ceremony held in Ankara on the first anniversary of the incident.
On 23 October 2024, a terrorist attack targeted the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) facilities in Ankara’s Kahramankazan district, resulting in the martyrdom of five people and the injury of 22 others.
On the first anniversary of the attack, TUSAŞ did not forget its martyrs. The commemoration ceremony held at the company’s Kahramankazan campus was attended by executives, employees, and the families of the martyrs.
In the statement released by TUSAŞ, the following remarks were included:
“We commemorated our five heroes with a ceremony held at our Ankara Kahramankazan campus.
We will keep their cherished memories alive in our hearts and carry their dreams into the future.
May their souls rest in peace, and may their places be in heaven.”
During the ceremony, a moment of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs, followed by collective prayers. At the end of the event, participants conveyed their condolences to the families of the martyrs.
