In the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facility in the Kahramankazan district, where 5 people lost their lives and 22 were injured, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation.
Strong Condemnation from TUSAŞ General Manager
TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu vehemently condemned the attack in a statement on social media, expressing:
“My deepest condolences to our beloved nation. I strongly condemn the treacherous terrorist attack on our facility in Ankara Kahramankazan. I wish mercy from Allah upon our martyrs, extend my condolences to their families and our nation, and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. My thoughts are with all my colleagues during this difficult time.”
Highlighting National Defense Industry
Demiroğlu further emphasized: “No attack can hinder our nation’s resolute stance and progress in the national defense industry. We will continue working tirelessly for the future of our country, standing tall in unity and solidarity against these attacks.” He reiterated that TUSAŞ’s mission and goals remain unchanged.
Turkey’s Defense Industry
TUSAŞ plays a vital role in Turkey’s defense industry, contributing to the nation’s defense capabilities through indigenous technology development projects. While such vile attacks aim to disrupt the advancement of the national defense industry, the determination and solidarity within the sector ensure that these challenges will be overcome.
