TUSAŞ Becomes Türkiye’s Leader with a ₺51.5 Billion R&D Investment
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) once again topped the 2024 Türkiye R&D 500 Survey by Turkishtime, with an R&D investment of ₺51.5 billion.
TUSAŞ General Manager Dr Mehmet Demiroğlu highlighted the importance of national engineering and innovation in his social media post, congratulating his entire team.
A Major Share in the Total Investment of 500 Companies
According to the survey, the total R&D investment of 500 companies in Türkiye in 2024 amounted to ₺184 billion. TUSAŞ alone accounted for ₺51.5 billion of this figure. Steering critical projects in the defence and aerospace sector, the company reinforced Türkiye’s R&D leadership.
In the survey, ASELSAN ranked second with ₺31.9 billion, followed by Roketsan with ₺6.7 billion.
Emphasis on National Engineering and Innovation
In his post, Dr Mehmet Demiroğlu stated:
“Behind the projects shaping the future of defence and aerospace lies the strength of our national engineering and the importance we place on innovation. I congratulate all my colleagues who contributed.”
