Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) announced that the ANKA-3 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which is still under development, has passed an important milestone in its system verification and identification test flights. According to the statement, ANKA-3 successfully completed its 46th test sortie and met all required criteria in the critical autopilot tests.
In the announcement shared through TUSAŞ’s social media accounts along with published footage, the progress made in ANKA-3’s testing process was highlighted. The statement included the following remarks:
“ANKA-3 has overcome yet another significant threshold in its development process. Completing its 46th sortie within the scope of system verification and identification test flights, ANKA-3 also successfully concluded its critical autopilot tests. With its high-technology-based architecture and superior performance, ANKA-3 represents TUSAŞ’s engineering capability and production strength.”
It was reported that the tests of ANKA-3, which stands out with its next-generation tailless architecture, low radar visibility, and high payload capacity, are continuing as planned. The platform once again demonstrates the advanced engineering competencies of the Turkish defence industry in the field of UAVs.
