Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has established a new facility in Kahramanmaraş to produce key components for Boeing. This investment initiative, launched in collaboration with the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMTSO) to revitalize the region after the February 6 earthquake, includes the newly opened ‘TUSAŞ Aviation Structures Manufacturing Facility’, which continues to progress rapidly.

TUSAŞ held a meeting to share updates on the facility’s operations and production. Attendees included:

Information on Facility Operations
The protocol members toured the facility to inspect production processes. Detailed information was provided by TUSAŞ officials during inspections of production lines, quality control departments, and engineering offices.

KMTSO Chairman Mustafa Buluntu emphasized the importance of the facility for the region’s post-earthquake recovery, both economically and morally. He stated, “This facility plays a crucial role in the region’s development and in giving people hope for the future. TUSAŞ’s investments here are a symbol of Turkish engineering and manufacturing prowess. With this visionary project, Kahramanmaraş has entered a new era in industry and commerce.”

Following the meeting, TUSAŞ Chairman Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan and TUSAŞ Production Operations Director Fatih Uysal visited KMTSO, where they met with Chairman Mustafa Buluntu, Vice Chairman Hikmet Gümüşer, and Board Member Mehmet Fatih Dertli. They conducted final discussions on the main contract for the soon-to-be-established Kahramanmaraş Aviation and Aerospace Industry Inc. in partnership with TUSAŞ.
