Baykar, one of the leading companies in Turkey’s defence industry, is set to participate for the first time in the Paris Air Show — one of the world’s most prestigious aviation events. The exhibition will take place at Paris-Le Bourget Airport from 16 to 22 June 2025. At the event, LBA Systems, a joint venture between Baykar and Italian defence giant Leonardo, will also make its international debut.
LBA Systems: A Strategic Partnership Between Two Giants
Baykar and Leonardo, two major players in the defence and aerospace sector, aim to open a new chapter in the industry through their joint venture, LBA Systems. This strategic partnership brings together advanced UAV technologies, electronic warfare systems, sensor integration, and high-precision munitions under one roof.
In a special video invitation released for the event, Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar and Leonardo CEO Roberto Cingolani invited industry representatives to visit their stand in Paris.
In his message, Selçuk Bayraktar stated:
“LBA Systems brings together two engineering powerhouses with a shared vision. Baykar’s combat-proven technologies, combined with Leonardo’s European expertise and system integration, form a perfect alliance. Come meet us, connect, and join us in these exciting times.”
Leonardo CEO Roberto Cingolani added:
“The strong synergy between Leonardo and Baykar is the defining feature of this joint venture. We can integrate the most advanced electronics, sensors, cameras, and technologies with Baykar’s various unmanned aerial platforms. See you in Paris — stay tuned.”
