Turkish Airlines (THY) has cancelled all departing and arriving flights at London Heathrow Airport due to a fire outbreak. THY Press Advisor Yahya Üstün officially announced that all London Heathrow flights scheduled for 21 March have been cancelled.

Power Outages Due to Fire

In a statement on social media, Yahya Üstün said, “Due to a fire near London Heathrow Airport, power outages are occurring in and around the airport. This has disrupted air traffic and flight operations.”

Cancelled Flights and Passenger Notifications

As a result of the power outages, all departing flights from Heathrow and flights scheduled to arrive at the airport have been cancelled. Turkish Airlines officials stated that they are working on alternative solutions to inform passengers and minimise inconvenience.
