According to data submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), THY recorded a remarkable growth with a net profit of 88.9 billion TL in the first nine months of the year.
Stable Performance in the Third Quarter: 51.5 Billion TL Net Profit
THY reported a net profit of 51.5 billion TL in the third quarter of 2024. Although this figure is similar to the 51.3 billion TL recorded in the same period last year, it reflects the company’s consistent financial stability on an annual basis.
Record Increase in Sales Revenue: 551.9 Billion TL in the First 9 Months
THY achieved a total sales revenue of 551.9 billion TL in the first nine months of 2024, significantly surpassing the 358.8 billion TL recorded in the same period last year. The sales revenue of 221.8 billion TL recorded in the third quarter, in particular, underscores THY’s success in reaching more passengers globally, driven by rising demand and an expanding flight network.
Decline in Dollar-Based Profit
While Turkish Airlines increased its profitability in TL terms, there was a slight decrease in dollar-based profit. The company reported a net profit of 2.712 billion USD for the first nine months of 2024, a slight drop compared to the 2.788 billion USD achieved in the same period in 2023.
THY’s 2024 Growth Goals
Throughout 2024, Turkish Airlines remains focused on its growth targets, driven by increased passenger traffic and global network expansion. As Turkey’s flag carrier, the airline continues to strengthen its position in the international aviation sector while expanding operations to serve more destinations.
