Turkish Airlines (THY) Chairman Ahmet Bolat hosted Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathi, Egyptian Ambassador Amr el-Hamami, and their delegation at the General Management Building. This important visit, which resulted in a productive meeting, aims to further enhance the tourism relations between Turkey and Egypt.

The meeting emphasized the high tourism potential and cultural diversity of both countries, discussing ways to strengthen the bilateral relationship. During the meeting, Egypt’s natural and cultural riches were showcased, and connections were made with Turkish Airlines managers in Egypt to share information about existing routes and flight frequencies.

Turkish Airlines, along with AJet, operates a total of 71 flights per week to five cities in Egypt. This number will be increased to 80 frequencies in the summer schedule of 2023, further expanding the transportation network in the region.

Expressing his pleasure with the visit, Ahmet Bolat stated:
“I would like to thank the Minister and his delegation for their kind visit. As Turkish Airlines, we will continue to offer our full support for the development of tourism and economic relations between Turkey and Egypt.”
