Cargo Performance:
Cargo transport reached a total of 2 million tons in 2024, a remarkable 20.6% increase. Domestic routes experienced a notable 34.3% growth, although the African region saw a 19.6% decline in cargo volume.
Turkish Airlines successfully combined capacity growth with operational expansion throughout 2024. The airline achieved significant growth in key markets, particularly the Far East (24% growth) and North America (11.6% growth). Its 20.6% surge in cargo transport further solidified its leadership position in the sector.
Despite a slight dip in passenger load factor, Turkish Airlines aims to leverage its expanding network and growing capacity for a strong start to 2025.
