Turkish Airlines (THY) Legal and Compliance Team has achieved significant international success. At the prestigious Lexology European Awards 2025, the team was recognised as the Best Legal Team in Europe in the Transport & Logistics – Team category.
According to a statement from THY’s Press Office, the award ceremony took place on 13 March in London, the capital of the United Kingdom. THY’s Legal and Compliance department outperformed its competitors, securing first place thanks to its strategic contributions to the sector, high standards, and innovative approach.
A Symbol of Excellence in Law: The Lexology Awards
Organised by leading legal platform Lexology in collaboration with the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), these awards honour the visionary approaches and sectoral contributions of in-house legal teams.
Berkant Kolcu: “A Success of Team Spirit and Shared Vision”
In the statement, THY’s Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Berkant Kolcu, recalled that he had been individually awarded the same honour last year. He emphasised that winning the award as a team this year made the achievement even more meaningful, stating:
