Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced that it will restart flights to Yanbu, one of the key port cities on Saudi Arabia’s western Red Sea coast. According to the statement from THY, the first flight on the Istanbul–Yanbu route is scheduled for 26 October 2025.
Under the new flight schedule, there will be three weekly flights between Istanbul Airport and Yanbu Airport, offering a new travel option for both business and leisure passengers.
Yanbu is a destination known for its natural beauty and historical charm. It is especially popular among diving enthusiasts for its coral reefs and rich marine life. The city also stands out culturally, with its old town area, known as Yanbu Al-Bahr, attracting tourists with its traditional architecture and historic markets.
