Turkish Airlines (THY) CEO Bilal Ekşi has made an important announcement via his social media account. Highlighting Turkey’s strength in the international aviation industry, Ekşi revealed that THY will resume its flights to Benghazi, Libya.
In his statement, Ekşi said:
“We are starting again! Our flights to Tripoli, Libya, are ongoing, and now we are resuming flights to Benghazi starting from January 14, 2025, with three flights per week. Turkey is growing, and THY is soaring high.”
The new Benghazi route, scheduled three times a week, will facilitate travel between the two countries and strengthen both commercial and cultural ties.
