Turkish Airlines Cargo to Assess Future Trends at Cargo Facts EMEA 2025

Turkish Airlines Cargo’s Senior Vice President for Cargo Revenue Management and Freighter Planning, Adnan Karaismailoğlu, will participate in a key panel at the Cargo Facts EMEA 2025 event on Wednesday, 7 May, at 09:15 (GMT +3).

The event will take place from 6-8 May at the Shangri-La Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul. Now in its seventh edition, Cargo Facts EMEA brings together industry leaders from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to discuss the latest developments, opportunities, and trends in the air cargo sector.

Adnan Karaismailoğlu’s Role and Experience

Having assumed his current role at Turkish Airlines in May 2024, Karaismailoğlu is responsible for revenue optimisation and network planning across the airline’s cargo operations.

Since joining Turkish Airlines in 2011, he has held various positions, previously serving as Senior Vice President for Cargo Business Development and Organisation, where he led major projects.

Additionally, since August 2023, he has been a board member of Widect, Turkish Airlines’ e-commerce-focused door-to-door logistics service provider.

THY Cargo Fleet Investments: A Strong Growth Strategy

As part of its efforts to strengthen its cargo fleet, Turkish Airlines has placed an order with Boeing for four next-generation 777F aircraft in 2024, increasing the number of this model in its fleet to 12.

In addition, at the end of 2023, an order was placed with Airbus for five A350F aircraft. The airline aims to expand its cargo fleet to over 40 aircraft by 2033, nearly doubling its current capacity.

Current fleet:

  • 8 Boeing 777F
  • 10 production Airbus A330-200F

While reinforcing its position in regional and global logistics, Turkish Airlines continues to develop innovative solutions in e-commerce, express delivery, and sustainable transportation.
