Turkish Airlines (THY) announced that today’s planned flights to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, have been canceled due to adverse weather conditions affecting the region.
In a statement from THY’s Press Office, it was clarified that this decision, taken due to weather conditions impacting flight safety, applies to both the Istanbul-Podgorica and Podgorica-Istanbul routes.
The statement read:
“Due to adverse weather conditions in Podgorica, today’s TK1087 Istanbul-Podgorica and TK1088 Podgorica-Istanbul flights have been mutually canceled.”
Turkish Airlines assured passengers that it would assist with procedures such as ticket refunds and reservation changes to minimize inconvenience caused by the cancellations.
