Bilal Ekşi, the CEO of Turkish Airlines, shared a post on his social media account, highlighting the growth of THY’s fleet. Ekşi stated, “In 2025, our 500th aircraft will arrive. How many aircraft did we have in 2003? 65 aircraft. We were ranked 35th in the world in terms of fleet size. Now, we are 9th in the world. This is growth!”

In the graphical image he shared, Ekşi also pointed out THY’s goals for 2033, stating that the fleet will reach 813 aircraft, and $50 billion in revenue will be generated. Ekşi concluded, “Turkey is growing, THY is soaring high,” emphasising the company’s rise to a significant position in global aviation.
