T&T Airport Management has completed its fourth-period turnover share and VAT payment to the TRNC state for 2025.
In a statement made by T&T Airport Management Deputy General Manager Dilek Conkbayır, it was emphasised that Ercan Airport creates significant value for the TRNC both in aviation services and in terms of economic contribution. Within this scope, T&T Airport Management made a payment to the TRNC Ministry of Finance amounting to TRY 998,457,753, including VAT, representing the fourth-period turnover share for 2025 covering the months of October–November–December. In 2025, the total amount paid to the state reached TRY 1,959,004,940, including VAT.
Turanlı: Turnover payments provide direct contributions to TRNC public finances and the overall economic structure
T&T Airport Management Chairman of the Board Emrullah Turanlı made the following statements regarding the matter:
“By completing our fourth-period turnover share payment for 2025, amounting to a total of TRY 998,457,753 including VAT, we have fulfilled our commitments to the TRNC state. In 2025, the total amount we paid to the state, including VAT, amounted to TRY 1,959,004,940.
The payments made provide a direct contribution to TRNC public finances and the overall economic structure. As a company, we see contributing to the national economy as a corporate responsibility. The payments we make are an important indicator of the private sector’s contribution to the economic system.”
Emphasising that the aviation sector is not only about transportation but also one of the driving forces of economic growth, Turanlı said: “As an airport operator, making regular turnover payments to the state provides a direct and transparent contribution to public finances. This contribution returns to the economy across a wide range of areas, from infrastructure investments to social expenditures.”
Noting that airports create a multiplier effect through employment, trade and tourism activity, Turanlı stated: “In the long term, a strong aviation infrastructure is one of the fundamental elements that increase the competitiveness of the national economy.”
We served 5 million 762 thousand passengers in 2025
Emrullah Turanlı stated that in 2025, Ercan Airport served 5,762,036 passengers and 37,643 aircraft.
