Antalya has achieved a significant success in tourism. In the first four months of the year, 2,066,962 foreign tourists visited this beautiful city. According to the announcement made by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Antalya achieved a record-breaking success with a 14.10% increase.
April also crowned with a separate record. With a 4.86% increase compared to the same period last year, 1,061,026 tourists visited Antalya. This was recorded as the highest number of tourists in April in history.
Germany led the visitors to Antalya in April. 259,717 German tourists preferred Antalya. They were followed by 194,949 Russian and 141,497 British tourists, respectively.
Germany also remained the country sending the most visitors in the first four months of the year. 539,663 German tourists chose Antalya. Russia and the UK also significantly contributed to the number of visitors with 366,783 and 266,120 tourists, respectively.
There was a notable increase in the number of tourists from the main market countries. There was a 21% increase in tourists from Germany, 32% from the UK, 30% from Poland, 52% from Iran, 42% from Belgium, 51% from Ukraine, and 52% from France.
