The air transportation frequency between Turkey and Algeria, which is currently 35 flights per week, is being increased. According to the announcement made on the social media account of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the weekly flight frequency between the two countries will be increased to 80 through a memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries. It was noted that the memorandum was signed by General Director Kemal Yüksek and General Director Hakim Ganoun of the Algerian Civil Aviation Authority.




The announcement emphasized that the memorandum of understanding will also lift restrictions on flights between the two countries. With this development, it was stated that the restrictions on flight points between Turkey and Algeria will be lifted.
It was stated that the agreement will strengthen the relations between the parties and will be a positive step for airline companies, and it was expressed the hope that this development will be auspicious.
