Five people were rescued after a private jet crashed into Coos Bay in Oregon. Following the crash, which occurred on Monday morning, Southwest Oregon Regional Airport shut down all air traffic and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.

The blue and white painted aircraft crashed into Coos Bay from the end of Runway 23 at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport around 6:00 AM PST. The plane was carrying four passengers and one crew member. The impact of the crash caused significant damage to the aircraft’s fuselage.

Rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene after the accident, rescuing all five individuals and transporting them to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, no details have yet been released about the condition of the injured. Investigations began at the scene following the crash, but the cause remains unknown.

Airport officials refrained from speculating about the causes and stated that a thorough investigation would be conducted.
