Technical Issue on Cologne–Istanbul Flight: Statement from AJet

AJet’s VF90 flight from Cologne to Istanbul carried out the necessary procedures following a technical alert before landing and safely touched down at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The airline stated that no issues occurred during the flight.

On Sunday, 2 November, during AJet Airlines’ flight VF90 from Cologne to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, the cockpit crew implemented the necessary safety procedures following a technical alert prior to landing. Passengers were informed within the framework of flight safety, and the aircraft landed safely at Sabiha Gökçen Airport without any incident.

In a statement made by AJet Airlines regarding the incident, it was emphasised that the entire flight was carried out in accordance with safety standards.

AJet Press Counsellor Mehmet Yeşilkaya made the following statement on the matter:

“On Sunday, 2 November, during our flight VF-90 from Cologne to Istanbul, a technical issue occurred shortly before landing at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Necessary procedures were implemented, and our guests were informed within the framework of flight safety. Our aircraft landed safely and completed its flight without any problems. Respectfully announced to the public.”
