TAV Airports has signed a €300 million, 13-year project financing agreement with Is Bank of Turkey and Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) for the Ankara Esenboğa Airport project. Holding operating rights until May 2050, TAV had won the project by submitting the best bid in last year’s tender.
Airside investments, initiated with a short-term bridge loan, are set to be completed in the second quarter of 2025. Serving 10.8 million passengers in the first 10 months of 2023, Ankara Esenboğa Airport continues to be one of Turkey’s major transportation hubs.
