A plane operated by Enter Air, en route from Israel to Poland, made an emergency landing at Antalya Airport at 08:00 AM on Monday due to suspected engine failure. Around 150 Israeli 12th-grade students on board were directed to a special terminal as part of security measures.
Students Safe, Alternative Flight Arranged
The Israeli Ministry of Education announced that the students were in good health and accompanied by their teachers. An alternative flight was scheduled for 3:00 PM.
The student group was traveling to Poland as part of a traditional youth trip for Holocaust education in Europe. These educational trips were suspended following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, 2023, due to security concerns but were resumed last year after reassessments.
