The Turkish defense industry has achieved yet another milestone. The unmanned combat aircraft ANKA III, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), has successfully completed another critical test by releasing the jet-powered target drone Super Şimşek from under its wing.
Developed with national technology, ANKA III stands out with its low radar visibility and high payload capacity. The integration with Super Şimşek showcases the latest advancement in the combat UAV concept.
President of the Defense Industry Agency, Haluk Görgün, emphasized in a post on social media platform X that the test once again demonstrated the level of Turkish engineering. Görgün stated that the integrated operation of ANKA III and Super Şimşek sheds light on the future of combat UAV systems.
