SunExpress Expands its UK Flight Network for Summer 2025

SunExpress, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, is significantly expanding its UK flight network for the summer 2025 season. By offering 178 weekly flights from a total of 11 airports in the United Kingdom, the airline strengthens its competitive position in the market while providing more travel options. This expansion increases SunExpress’s capacity in the UK market by 20%, reaching nearly 1.9 million seats.

New Destinations and Increased Frequencies

Starting in April 2025, SunExpress will launch new routes:

  • Glasgow Airport: First-ever flights to Antalya and Dalaman.
  • Liverpool John Lennon Airport: New flights to Antalya.

Additionally, the number of flights from London Stansted Airport will nearly double to 26 weekly, including new routes to Dalaman and Kayseri.

Newcastle and Other Key Routes

  • Newcastle-Dalaman: Two new weekly flights.
  • Newcastle-Antalya: Continued services for summer 2025.
  • London Gatwick, Manchester, and Birmingham: Flights to Antalya will increase to up to three daily services during the summer season.

  • Liverpool – Antalya: 3 weekly flights.
  • Newcastle – Dalaman: 2 weekly flights.
