Su-35S Fighters Deployed to Operational Zones

Rostec has delivered a new batch of Su-35S fighter jets to the Russian Ministry of Defence. With the fourth delivery of the year, the air power of the Russian Aerospace Forces has been further strengthened.

Russia’s leading state defence industry corporation, Rostec, announced in a new press release that it has delivered another batch of Su-35S fighter jets to the Russian Ministry of Defence. According to the company’s statement, the delivered aircraft successfully passed all necessary ground and flight tests before being deployed to their operational zones.

With this delivery, the fourth batch of Su-35S fighters has been added to the inventory of the Russian Aerospace Forces in 2025. Rostec officials emphasised that production and delivery processes have exceeded planned targets.

The company’s statement included the following remarks:

“Aircraft manufacturers of the Rostec State Corporation have confidently increased the pace of delivering modern combat aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defence. Among them is the Su-35S, one of the most effective modern fighter jets in the world. These aircraft, equipped with advanced systems and long-range weapons, are capable of effectively engaging air, ground, and sea targets.”

United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) CEO Vadim Badekha also commented on the delivery process, noting that maintaining high production rates has strengthened the military supply chain:

“As UAC, we continue to maintain a high production rate for the Russian Ministry of Defence. We are successfully fulfilling our task of increasing the volume of military production. Within this year, we also plan to deliver new batches consisting of operational-tactical and military transport aircraft.”

It should be recalled that the previous Su-35S delivery took place last August. The 4++ generation fighter jets in that batch underwent factory tests and were then tested by Ministry of Defence pilots in various mission scenarios. Rostec did not disclose information about the bases where the new aircraft will be stationed.
