Turkish Airlines (THY) has cancelled several flights scheduled for 27 and 28 February due to upcoming strikes in Greece and Germany. Passengers are advised to stay updated on flight information to avoid inconvenience.

General Strike in Greece: Athens and Thessaloniki Flights Cancelled

According to a statement from THY’s Press Office, flights to Athens and Thessaloniki will be cancelled on Friday, 28 February, due to a nationwide strike in Greece.

The cancelled flights are as follows:

Istanbul – Athens – Istanbul

  • TK 1841 / TK 1842
  • TK 1843 / TK 1844
  • TK 1847 / TK 1848
  • TK 1849 / TK 1850

Istanbul – Thessaloniki – Istanbul

  • TK 1881 / TK 1882
  • TK 1893 / TK 1894

Strike at Munich Airport: 48-Hour Walkout

A 48-hour warning strike by public sector and ground handling staff at Munich Airport will result in the cancellation of Istanbul – Munich flights on 27 and 28 February.
