Reaching a growth rate of 9.6% in the category of large airports serving over 40 million passengers, ISG has become the fastest-growing airport in Europe.
Also Stands Out in Passenger Numbers
Sabiha Gökçen Airport not only stood out with its growth rate but also ranked high across Europe in terms of total passenger numbers. According to data published by Airports Council International (ACI), the airport was ranked as the eighth busiest in Europe during the first quarter of 2025.
Between January and March 2025, ISG increased its passenger numbers by 9% compared to the same period the previous year, earning the title of the second fastest-growing airport in Europe in this category as well.
