Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport Climbs Eight Places on the Brand Finance 2025 List

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (ISG), ranked as the eighth busiest airport in Europe in terms of passenger traffic, has climbed eight spots on this year’s “Turkey’s Most Valuable Brands – Turkey 125” list published by the international brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance.

This achievement, reflecting the growth potential of Turkey’s aviation sector, highlights ISG’s prominence not only through its rising passenger numbers but also its economic contribution and global connectivity strength.

A Leading Aviation Brand Driving Turkey’s Economy

According to the results of the 2023 economic impact analysis prepared by Istanbul Ekonomi, the Turkish representative of the independent international consultancy FTI Consulting, ISG currently contributes to the Turkish economy through:

  • An economic impact equal to approximately 1.3% of the national income.
