On November 30, Ryanair launched its first flights from the UK to Turkey, connecting London Stansted Airport with Dalaman and Bodrum. The ultra-low-cost airline will operate both routes twice a week.
Flights to Bodrum and Dalaman have seen significant growth in recent years, particularly during the winter season. With these routes, Ryanair takes advantage of being the only airline flying from Stansted during the winter.
However, in the upcoming summer season, Ryanair will face competition on these routes from airlines such as Jet2, Pegasus, SunExpress, and TUI. These new connections are seen as a response to the growing demand for air travel between Turkey and the UK.
