STAY UP TO 30 DAYS IN RUSSIA WITH AN E-VISA
Russia has introduced a new regulation for electronic visas, extending e-visa validity from 60 to 120 days and allowing a stay in the country for up to 30 days. This change has made travelling to Russia more practical and accessible.
Due to increasing interest, A Jet has added a second daily flight on the Istanbul–St. Petersburg route, following Turkish Airlines. Starting from 7 September, direct flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport will operate every day of the week. Passengers can reach St. Petersburg in approximately 3.5 hours with the flight departing at 01:15.
High Tourist Volume from Turkey
With the e-visa convenience, the number of Turkish tourists visiting St. Petersburg has increased by 65% compared to last year. Airlines have responded to this demand; both Turkish Airlines and A Jet have increased the number of flights.
The Appeal of St. Petersburg
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, St. Petersburg offers tourists diverse attractions, including its historic architecture, the Hermitage Museum, the “White Nights” views over the Neva River, and rich gastronomy.
Russia’s tourism initiatives and increased flight capacity make St. Petersburg a more accessible and attractive destination for tourists from Turkey.
