Saudi Arabia’s digital flag carrier, Riyadh Air, has launched a global cabin crew recruitment campaign as it prepares to begin operations in the latter half of 2025. Fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the airline is strengthening its workforce as part of its mission to connect Saudi Arabia to over 100 destinations worldwide.
Air Operator Certificate Obtained
Earlier this month, Riyadh Air received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia, marking a critical step in the operational launch of commercial air transport services.
From Haute Couture to the Skies: Iconic Cabin Crew Uniforms
Unveiled at Paris Haute Couture Week last year, Riyadh Air’s uniforms are the work of Saudi designer Ashi. Created by ASHI Studio, the collection features cashmere outerwear, fine wool dresses, bespoke leather shoes and amethyst earrings. Inspired by 1950s aviation fashion and infused with modern lines, the designs reflect the airline’s forward-looking vision.

Application Requirements
Riyadh Air Begins Cabin Crew Recruitment

Fluent English (additional languages are an advantage)

Minimum height of 160 cm and arm reach of 212 cm

At least 21 years of age

Ability to swim

Professional appearance (no visible tattoos or piercings while in uniform)

Eligibility for a Saudi work visa and willingness to relocate to Riyadh

Minimum of high school education

At least 1 year of experience in customer service or hospitality
Salary and Benefits
Riyadh Air offers a competitive compensation package for cabin crew:

Basic salary: 5,500 SAR (~£1,165)

Block hour pay: 75 SAR per hour

Average total monthly income: 11,725 SAR (~£2,480)

Additional allowances: 300 SAR for uniform, 300 SAR for phone expenses
While the salary level is lower than that of European and US carriers, it is on par with other airlines in the Middle East. Cabin crew are provided with two-bedroom accommodation, while flight attendants receive single-bedroom lodging. Comprehensive health insurance is also offered to all staff.
