Syria and Qatar have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority and the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority signed the memorandum of understanding to strengthen civil aviation cooperation between the two countries. The discussions were held at the invitation of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.

Areas of Cooperation and Training Opportunities
The agreement covers various areas of collaboration, including air navigation services, infrastructure development, and training. It also aims to establish joint projects in the civil aviation sector and foster cooperation in personnel training between the two parties.
The Syrian delegation visited the Qatar Airways operations center and discussed potential collaborations between Syrian Airlines and Qatar Airways. Qatar expressed its willingness to host Syrian civil aviation personnel and employees of Syrian Airlines for training in Qatar.
