Qatar Airways Tops 2025 Skytrax Awards: Voted Airline of the Year

Qatar Airways has once again made history by being named the “World’s Best Airline” at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held during the Paris Air Show. The flag carrier of Qatar secured this prestigious title for a record ninth time in Skytrax’s 26-year history.

In addition to being named the world’s best airline, Qatar Airways also won awards for Best Airline in the Middle East, World’s Best Business Class, and Best Business Class Lounge. Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer commented, “This recognition is more than just an award; it’s a celebration of our identity, our passion, and our purpose.”

Turkish Airlines Makes the Top 10

Turkish Airlines ranked 6th on the Skytrax list and was honoured with several major awards: Best Airline in Europe, World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering, and Best Airline in Southern Europe. The award ceremony was marked by strong attendance from airline executives and crew members alike.

Other Key Winners

Singapore Airlines, which came in second, received awards for Best Cabin Crew, Best First Class, and Best Airline in Asia.
Cathay Pacific ranked third, followed by Emirates in fourth, and ANA All Nippon Airways in fifth place.
AirAsia was named the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline for the 16th time.
EVA Air won the title of the World’s Cleanest Airline in 2025.
Bangkok Airways was named World’s Best Regional Airline for the ninth time.
