DHL Aviation has introduced its new premium product, Xcelerate, which combines speed and priority in air cargo transportation. Offering fast and guaranteed airport-to-airport shipping, this innovative service promises an effective solution for the high-paced shipping needs in the logistics industry.
Priority, Flexibility, and Speed Now Standard with Xcelerate
Backed by DHL’s global air freight network, Xcelerate provides customers with guaranteed capacity, instant booking confirmation, high-priority loading, and short delivery times. The service allows last-minute bookings with close-to-flight acceptance times, maximizing operational flexibility.
“A Cargo Service Similar to Passenger Experience”
Ingrid Raj, DHL Express Global Aviation Commercial President, said about the new product:
“With Xcelerate, we offer our cargo customers a premium experience similar to what some airlines provide their passengers. This product was developed based directly on customer feedback and through collaboration across multiple departments.”
Paul Ennis, Vice President of Global Operations at DHL Aviation, added:
“With Xcelerate, we are taking our promise of ‘Excellence. Simply Delivered’ to the next level. This highly flexible and carefully designed service is easy to access yet maintains top-tier standards.”
A New Level of Operational Efficiency and Customer Experience
The new service offers priority delivery at destinations, increasing operational efficiency for DHL customers. It ensures the first delivery of last-minute shipments, making a significant difference for urgent consignments.
Additionally, shipments are tracked end-to-end by a dedicated customer service team. Proactive email notifications keep users informed with real-time updates at every stage of the process.
Sustainability-Focused Innovation
Alongside the launch of Xcelerate, a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) surcharge has been implemented. This initiative supports DHL’s sustainability strategy, aiming to reach 30% SAF usage by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
