A disruption occurred in the Polnet system, used by security units across Türkiye, as of 17:25 yesterday. Due to the access problem, police teams began carrying out passport control manually.
In particular, additional security measures were implemented at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (ISG) to ease passenger congestion. It was announced that water distribution inside the terminal would begin to prevent passengers from being inconvenienced.
Authorities stated that the outage in the Polnet system was expected to last for about half an hour and that developments were being closely monitored.
