A plane crash at Russia’s Sochi Airport fortunately resulted in no loss of life. An official statement from the Press Service of the Southern Transport Prosecutor’s Office provided details of the incident.
According to officials, a passenger plane preparing to take off for Tyumen collided on the runway with another aircraft that had just landed from Norilsk. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
An investigation has been launched into the incident to determine whether negligence was involved. Airport authorities stated that all factors potentially endangering flight safety will be thoroughly assessed.
