Heydar Aliyev Airport Expands Its Flight Network
According to Azernews, Heydar Aliyev International Airport is expanding its flight network by introducing numerous new international connections and increasing flight frequencies on existing routes.
New Routes and Flight Frequencies
- Air Astana will operate flights on the Baku-Almaty route twice a week starting from 2 March.
- Fly Arystan will resume Baku-Aktau flights on 21 March.
- Pegasus Airlines will launch regular flights on the Baku-Dalaman route from 30 March.
- Flynas will commence direct flights on the Baku-Dammam route on the same date.
- Uzbekistan Airways will increase Baku-Tashkent flights to four times a week.
Return of Greece and Montenegro Connections
From 15 April, Aegean Airlines will resume direct flights between Baku and Athens. Additionally, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will launch direct flights to Tivat starting from 28 April.
Increased Flight Frequencies
Flight frequencies to destinations such as Rome, Istanbul, Kuwait, and Riyadh will be increased. On the Baku-Tel Aviv route, Arkia, AZAL, and Israir will join existing operations, expanding service capacity.
Enhanced Connections to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
Passengers will have more connection opportunities to key tourism and business destinations, including Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, Prague, Budapest, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Dammam, Beijing, Ürümqi, Malé in the Maldives, and Sharm El-Sheikh.
