Pegasus Airlines reached 43.3 million passengers in 2025. While passenger numbers increased by 17% in December, carbon emissions declined to 56.9 gr/RPK.

Pegasus Airlines Inc. (Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı A.Ş.) announced its traffic results for December 2025 and the January–December period of 2025. The data revealed that the company achieved steady growth in both passenger numbers and capacity utilisation.

17% Increase in Passenger Numbers in December 2025

In December 2025, Pegasus carried a total of 3.62 million guests, recording a 17% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. During the same period, the total number of landings reached 19,787, while total available seat capacity rose to 4.17 million.

The load factor stood at 86.9%, while Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) reached 6.5 billion km.

43.3 Million Passengers in 2025

During the January–December 2025 period, Pegasus’s total number of guests amounted to 43.26 million. This figure indicated a 15% growth compared to 2024.

Throughout the year, total seat capacity reached 49.35 million, while ASK totalled 78.3 billion kilometres. The load factor remained stable at 87.7%.

Balanced Performance on Domestic and International Routes

On domestic routes, passenger numbers reached 1.36 million in December, with a notable load factor of 92.5%.

On international routes, Pegasus carried 2.26 million guests in December 2025. The annual increase in international passenger numbers was recorded at 18%.

Continuous Improvement in Carbon Emissions

Pegasus continued to improve its performance in the field of environmental sustainability.

According to carbon emission statistics, CO₂ emissions in December 2025 were recorded at 56.8 gr/RPK. The cumulative annual average stood at 56.9 gr/RPK.

This figure represents a significant decrease compared to the emission intensity level of 65.1 gr/RPK recorded in 2019, highlighting Pegasus’s environmentally friendly operational approach.

The jet fuel emission factor was applied as 3.16 for the base year and all reported periods.

With increasing passenger demand, strong capacity management and declining carbon intensity, Pegasus Airlines once again demonstrated in 2025 that it is firmly pursuing its sustainable growth strategy.
