Pegasus Airlines has released its traffic data for April 2025. Demonstrating notable growth in both domestic and international routes, Pegasus continues to underline its commitment to sustainable aviation through solid figures.
Total Passenger Numbers Reach 3.45 Million
In April 2025, Pegasus carried a total of 3.45 million passengers, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period last year. In the first four months of the year, the total number of passengers reached 12.48 million, reflecting a 14% year-on-year growth.
Strong International Performance
The number of international passengers rose by 25% in April, reaching 2.23 million. For the January–April period, total international passengers amounted to 7.95 million, representing a 19% increase compared to the same period last year. Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) on international routes grew by 26% in April, reaching 5,316 million kilometres.
Moderate Growth in Domestic Routes
Domestic passenger numbers stood at 1.22 million in April 2025, up 8% compared to the same month last year. In the January–April period, domestic passenger numbers increased by 5%, reaching a total of 4.52 million.
Slight Decline in Load Factor
The overall load factor in April 2025 was recorded at 86.8%, showing a 1.5 percentage point decrease compared to April 2024. The domestic load factor was 90.7%, while the international load factor stood at 84.8%. The load factor for the January–April period was 86.3%.
Sustainability Measures: Carbon Emissions Continue to Decline
Pegasus continues to make steady progress in reducing its carbon emissions as part of its sustainable aviation goals. In April 2025, carbon emission intensity was measured at 56.8 grams of CO₂ per Revenue Passenger Kilometre (RPK).
