While these guidelines provide methodologies and roadmaps for sustainable financing, they are not directly linked to Pegasus Airlines.
9 New Airbus A321neo Aircraft by 2025
As Turkey’s largest private airline, Pegasus continues its financial leasing arrangements for a total of nine Airbus A321neo aircraft, all scheduled for delivery by the end of 2025. The airline first placed its order for these aircraft in 2012, selecting CFMI’s Leap 1 engines.
Statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP)
In its statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Pegasus said:
“Under the scope of the 2012 Airbus order, the financing for nine Airbus A321neo aircraft, to be delivered by the end of 2025, will be secured via financial leasing. Details regarding the financing methods and terms will be determined by company management and shared with our investors.”
100 Aircraft Order and Additional Purchases
The original 100-aircraft Airbus order placed by Pegasus in 2012, and confirmed in 2017, included 42 A320neo and 58 A321neo aircraft. Subsequently, an additional 50 A321neo aircraft were added to the order with supplementary purchases made in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
