Pegasus Airlines has decided to suspend its flights to Iran until November 1st due to increasing regional tensions and the potential threat of an Israeli attack on Iran. The airline had previously suspended its flights to Lebanon for security reasons.
The company announced that the decision to cancel flights to Iran was made with the safety of passengers as the top priority. In a written statement, Pegasus said, “We are carefully evaluating the current conditions to ensure the safety of our customers and employees.”
Despite strong passenger demand for both domestic and international routes to Iran, the recent escalation of conflicts and tensions has led airlines to reassess their flight plans. All of Pegasus’ scheduled flights to Iran until November 1st will be reviewed based on ongoing security assessments.
